2026 AMPHL Conference Call for Poster Abstracts

Poster Submissions are being solicited for the 2026 AMPHL Conference.  All submissions are welcomed, including but not limited to those on research studies, quality improvement projects, program innovations, medical education topics, patient experience work, and access research.  We hope you will consider submitting your work!

Timeline:

  • Call for Posters Issued: Thursday, November 13, 2025

  • Completed poster proposals due: Sunday, January 4th, 2026 at 11:59pm ET

  • Notification of poster selections to presenters: Friday, January 23, 2026 

Poster Sessions: Posters must be hung Friday (April 24th) morning before 9:00am ET, and should be taken down no earlier than Sunday (April 26th) at 10:30am.  Poster sessions will be held on Friday, April 24th 12:00-12:30pm, and Saturday, April 25th 1:45-2:15pm; authors or their representatives should be present at both sessions.   

Poster Submission reviews:  All poster submissions will be collected and reviewed, considering the following criteria for an overall score using a 6-point Likert scale:

  1. Structure and format (writing, organization, clarity of the research question)

  2. Relevance and Appeal (practicality/importance of topic, timeliness, originality)

  3. Rigor (citation of previous research, study design and appropriateness, coherence of conceptual framework, coherence of framework, robustness of conclusions)

  4. Innovation

Submission Information:  The Poster Abstract Submission form can be found here. The following information will be collected: 

  • Name and contact details for main author/presenter

  • Names of additional authors/presenters (if applicable)

  • Title

  • Abstract Upload

    • Abstract title visible (centered at the top of the page, in bold, in the same font and size as the main text).

    • Main text must be 350 - 500 words. (Please include a word count in the document.)

    • Document must be two pages or less. (Examples, tables, figures, and/or references may be on a second page.)

    • Document should not exceed 10MB.

    • Fully anonymous: authors’ names, affiliations, or pictures should not be indicated anywhere in the document.

  • Open response: Do you have any additional Information for the Program Committee reviewers? (Please include any additional information that will help the program committee understand your poster proposal and prepare for it, should it be chosen.)

Completed Proposal Submission: After clicking submit, the page will reload. You will receive a receipt of your proposal via email and see this message:

 “Thank you for your submission! If you would like to have more than one poster considered, please submit the form. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email the conference chairs at conference@amphl.org.”

If you do not see the thank you message or receive a receipt of your submission via email, please re-submit your proposal.
