All of us remember when we were first starting out in the medical professions field, were worried how we’d succeed because we had a significant hearing loss and didn’t know who to contact for help or with questions. Many of you may be at this stage now.
AMPHL has developed a list of mentors, in addition to the extensive information already available on this site, to help people who are currently in this situation. These mentors have all been there and done it, and have agreed to be available for subscribers to contact for information and questions. We plan to add to this list as more mentors become available.
We have sorted this list in two ways:
1. By medical specialty: We currently have email contact information for at least one person in each of the following areas:
a. Audiologist
b. Nursing
c. Pharmacy
d. Physician
e. Physician Assistant
f. Physical Therapy
g. Veterinarian
2. By geographical area: We also sort the mentor list by geographical location:
a. United States – this is sorted by region of the country.
b. Outside United States – this is sorted by country.

Important:
This information is restricted to subscribers only. For more information on joining AMPHL as a subscriber, click here. Subscribers will be able to contact as many of the mentors as they wish. However, we do ask that subscribers respect the time of these mentors who have all volunteered to be on this list. Thus, feel free to contact individuals you think will be able to help you, but do not send a blanket message to everyone. Doing so may result in suspension of your subscribership. Keep in mind that the extent to which the mentor responds to your inquiry and questions is totally up to each mentor. AMPHL does not guarantee any outcomes; its role in this process is to develop the list of mentors and provide the contact information and specialty for these mentors to subscribers - nothing more.
If you are someone who is either currently in training or in practice, are not on the list, and are interested in being on the list, we would love to add your name.
