BASYA (BESS) VEYBERMAN-HERBERT, M.D.

Bess graduated from the University of Rochester School Medicine in May, 2001. She finished residency at Forbes Family Practice Residency program in August of 2004. Bess is working Webster Family Practice clinic in Rochester, NY associated with University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Bess has a severe to profound hearing loss and relies on a hearing aid. She also used to use a conference microphone. Now she relies heavily on an amplified stethoscope as well as lipreading. Bess is interested in promoting and helping others to pursue their life dreams regardless of their hearing loss. Bess immigrated from Latvia, a former Soviet Union Republic in 1990. Bess's native language is Russian. Bess is eager to continue working with AMPHL as a treasurer and to participate in AMPHL’s future endeavors.
