Just reminding everyone that there will be a spring conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. The theme is "Building Professional Relationships and Good COmmunication." The date is April 12, 2008. It will focus on the health care arena and medical providers with hearing loss.

Everyone is invited - based on the high ratings of previous conferences, and the planned activities at this one, we have every reason to suspect that this will meet/exceed the high expectations.

Also, speakers are still wanted on the following topics:
1. Technology updates
2. Surviving medical school/residency
3. Acommodations - how to ask, arrange
4. Communication techniques
5. Psychology of deaf, self building
6. Interpeters working for deaf professionals
7. Issues related to interpreting in medical settings
8. Personal volunteer experiences
9. Other relevant research
10. Other topics of interest
