The AMPHL Election call deadline is being extended to October 10, 2006. Due to the low amount of applications received we would like to give interested individuals two more weeks to complete and submit applications. If you are interested in submitting your name for consideration for any Board of Director positions or if you have any questions, please contact AMPHL at Secretary@amphl.org. You will then receive a questionnaire to complete.

The following positions remain open : (Please note that no experience is needed)

One (1) board position for a physician or currently enrolled medical student with a hearing loss. The director’s term will end in 2009.

Two (2) board positions for veterinarians or currently enrolled veterinary students with a hearing loss. One director’s term will end in 2008. The remaining director’s position will end in 2009.

One (1) board position for a medical professional with a hearing loss other than a physician or veterinarian (i.e.: nurse, veterinary technician, fire/rescue, physical therapy, etc) or a student with a hearing loss currently enrolled in such a program. The director’s term will end in 2009.

Two (2) board positions for individuals with or without a hearing loss who do not fit the above three director categories who are interested in contributing to AMPHL’s goals (e.g.: audiologists, disability specialists, etc.). One director’s term will end in 2008. The remaining director’s term will end in 2009.
